This is an opt-in mail list and you will need to reply to an email sent to your subscribed email address. The email will be sent after you have filled in the application form. If you have second thoughts about your subscription simply do not reply to the email. Your email address will not be passed on to others or used by PNG Gossip if you do not opt-in. If you do decide to confirm your email address then it will only be used by PNG Gossip to send regular newsletters (up to 3 a month) and the occasional notice. I would say that since 1998 there would be less than 6 occasional notices sent out.

If you submit an article it is advisable to state whether you want your email address used in any article. I would recommend using an account such as hotmail for any article and not your main email address just to be on the safe side.
